Type A Brushes
The Type A Brush is a "plunger" type brush. It is especially suitable for applications where access to the rotating shaft is limited such as when retrofitting an existing machine with a brush. These brushes are suitable for equipment up to approximately 25 MW. Type "A" brushes are available in numerous lengths, sizes are as follows:

- 8.5 A
- 11.0 A
- 13.5 A
- 16.0 A
